TO OUR PAWSOME FRIENDS..!

It was a thrilling Sunday for the dog lovers of the Pink City as the Jaipur Dog Show, a huge initiative by Jagdeesh Chandra, was held at Dusshera Ground in Adarsh Nagar, Jaipur. A whopping 300 unique dog breeds from across the country as well as abroad competed to win the much-coveted dog championship. Organised by the Rajasthan Chapter of the Kennel Club of India (KCI) and presented by First India News, Bharat24- Vision of New India and First India Newspaper the dog championship was judged by Tomonori Aizawa from Japan and Simon Sim from the Philippines. The show was beautifully hosted by Viren Sharma, Secretary of the Rajasthan Chapter of the Kennel Club of India.

The pet owners left no stone unturned in ensuring that their furry companions woo the spectators with their wagging tails, wet noses and flamboyant yet charming demeanour.

The visitors were completely thrilled to witness the finest specimens of breeds like Tibetan Mastiff, Alaskan Malamute, American Akita, Maltese, French Bulldog, Shitzu, Yorkshire Terrier and Poodle, among others. During the occasion, a large number of Indie pups were also adopted from the adoption camp at the event and a world record was made for the maximum number of Indie dogs adopted.

On this occasion, Jagdeesh Chandra shared that the KCI Championship was judged by Tomonori Aizawa of Japan and Simon Sim of the Philippines and this was the first time that international judges attended a dog show in Rajasthan. Virendra Choudhary, Director, First India News along with his son Lakshay Choudhary and Manoj Jagyasi Chief Business Officer & Strategic Advisor, Bharat24- Vision of New India were also present on the occasion.

Jaipurites were thrilled by the feats of the dog squad of the Rajasthan Police. Viren Sharma, Secretary of the Rajasthan Chapter of the Kennel Club of India, said that during the momentous show, the dog squad show of Rajasthan Police also took place in which the dog of Rajasthan Police amazed everyone with their surprising feats. In the same episode, the children also educated everyone by making a drawing on dog cruelty in which a cute puppy was gifted to the winner. During the show, Pinkcity also set an example by making the world’s largest cake for stray dogs which was recognised by Golden Book of World Records. To raise awareness about stray dogs, a 160 kg cake was made in the shape of a bone. The day saw a fashion show at the dog show followed by the KCI Championship. The models did a catwalk with the dogs on the stage.

Various eminent guests were also present on the oc- casion.
