It was a night of glitz and glamour, livewire perfor mances and nervewracking decisions, as the winners of First India Queen were announced in a star-studded ceremony at Jade Ballroom, Hotel Sahara Star, Mumbai on Friday. With 30 finalists from across the country battling it out for the coveted title, the jury had a tough time choosing the top five. Jagdeesh Chandra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The scintillating evening in the mesmerising land of picturesque beaches and the City of Dreams began by welcoming Jagdeesh Chandra, the man who made it possible for every young girl to dream big with confidence so that she may reach greater heights. While congratulating all the finalists, Jagdeesh Chandra welcomed the audience and said, “We strongly wish to open the gates of opportunity in the fashion and entertainment industry for many deserving girls. First India and youth are natural allies and we promote talent for one and all.” Famous anchor Simran Ahuja set the mood swinging by introducing the finalists of the First India Queen. Special Guest for the evening, Deepak Agarwal, MD, Bikaji Group, on the occasion said, “ The crown is an added privilege, I am sure the girls will take so much confidence from here. I am glad to be a part of the event.” He further congratulated Jagdeesh Chandra and the First India family for the wonderful event. Pearl Agarwal (Winner First Miss India 2021), Shreya Gupta (First Miss India 1st runner up), Lekh Uthaiah (First Miss India 2nd runner up) Chahak Bhandula (4th runner up) were also present on the occasion.
Many celebrities and dignitaries graced the mega event. On the occasion, various celebrities namely Riya Soni (Emerging Star), Manish Raisinghan (Versatile Actor), Umar Riaz (Most popular Actor), Vishal Kotian (People’s Choice), Rehaa Khan (Style Icon), Sakshi Dwivedi (Sizzling Personality) were also felicitated by First India. First India Queen is a platform of inspiration, learning and stardom for a common girl – coming from different parts of the country. The pageant celebrates inner beauty and talent as much as the physical appearance of any contestant, and hence it is instrumental in setting standards for evaluating and expressing the inner beauty of an Indian woman.
