'SAATHIYA' song of MAJOR inspired by Lucknow

When Adivi Sesh was coming to Lucknow he was mesmerised with the beauty and grandeur of Ambedkar Park here in Gomti Nagar which was one of his first impressions about the City of Nawabs.

Not only this Sesh, who was also accompanied by the parents of late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan has also planned meeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and are also planning to organise a special screening for him.

However he clarified the media that he does not intend to meet the CM with any taxfree requests.

He also praised the CM for taking steps to set up a film city in Noida, where the talent of artists from Uttar Pradesh can be realised.

While talking to the reporters, Adivi Sesh revealed that the movie has been getting good response from all corners and has been successful in raking as much as Rs 165 crores, which explains the success of the flick.

Adivi has been in the process of writing 'Major' since 2008 and since then has been interactiing with the parents of late Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who laid is life for t h e country while fighting the terrorists of the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.

Unlike other South Indian actors, Adivi has a clearer accent when it comes to speaking Hindi. And he credits this to his friends in the US, where he grew up.

"There I was friends with many Punjabis and Gujratis, who did not know English. We used to communicate in Hindi and they sometimes got to learn English from me. Mutually we bettered in both the languages", he explained.
