RUBAL SHEKHAWAT: A RAVISHING VERSION OF CHARM

True beauty is not limited to great looks as it also includes the expression of skills. It is all about being the voice of the voiceless by helping those in need. It is about serving the country of birth by helping the underprivileged for the improvement of the community as well. Today’s women express themselves through multiple skills and stay motivated to serve themselves as well as the nation. One such magnanimous soul is Rubal Shekhawat who also believes in putting the nation before herself. City First spoke to Rubal Shekhawat about her journey of making it to the top 30 finalists in the Femina Miss India 2022.

• Describe yourself and what according to you are some vital skills or characteristics that one should have to make it to the modelling world?

My name is Rubal Shekhawat and I am from Jaipur. I have done graduation and I am a model, actress and content creator by profession. I have travelled across the country because I hail from a defense background. This made me very much interested in travelling to various places so that I can discover new cultures and participate in adventurous activities. In my opinion determination, a consistently healthy lifestyle and true dedication to the profession are essential for modelling.

• If you could go in the future and give yourself some advice about your career what would it be?

Yes, I would give myself some advice regarding the healthcare regime. I would tell myself to take better care of my health because initially, my hectic shooting schedules taxed my health.

• What made you find a model in you?

Modelling was my childhood dream and I am delighted that it came true. I used to look up to Sushmita Sen, Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra and Manushi Chhillar. They all inspired me to become a good professional. I think my spontaneity also made me discover the model within me. My passion and dedication to creating my own identity made me find the job I was made for.

• What according to you was the biggest mistake made by you when you started?

The biggest mistake that I committed was when I took my health for granted. I used to be out for shoots from early morning to late night and was left bereft of home-cooked meals. In the beginning, I could not manage it well and at times even ate unhealthy food. Then I worked on it and made a health and skin regime which I religiously follow now.

• What has been the most memorable or rewarding moment in your career?

There are so many memorable and rewarding moments in my life. Starting with the most recent, winning the title of Femina Miss India Rajasthan 2022 made me proud of myself. One of them is when I did an advertisement with Ranveer Singh. I have also done a song with Emraan Hashmi and it made me so happy. I am proud of all that I have done.
