RECREATING FASHION

A peek of glamour and elegance were witnessed in the fashion festival of Rajasthan ‘Udaipur Couture Show 2022’ presented by First India and Bharat 24 was held at Ramee Royal Resort in the beautiful lake city of Rajasthan on Monday. The show was embellished with nine fashion sequences in which designers from Udaipur as well as Jaipur, Surat, Rajkot, Mumbai and Delhi presented their garments on the exhibition stage. The fourth sequence flaunted western costumes by Iftesham Khan having Vipra Mehta as the showstopper of the sequence. The costumes showcased ‘Slow Fashion’, which promotes luxury brands at affordable prices. The designer wants to bring the latest luxurious women’s fashion at low prices to the small town, of Udaipur. She aims to bring modernization to muslim women and provides them with the best styles that complement their personalities and boost their confidence. When asked about the designs the designers said “We honour ladies by giving them the most stylish, elegant, and classic things at affordable prices.”

While sharing her vision the designer further said “Through my collection, we strive to curate the latest fashion trends mostly in Satin, keeping sustainability in mind. Our vision is to bring a diversified range of styles and collections that exudes quality and happiness, made using the highest quality materials and sold at the most attainable prices, especially in a small town like Udaipur where a western range of fashion is not easily affordable at low prices”. Designers from different corners of the country showcased their collections during the fashion event. Gaurav Gaur, the director of the Show said he was overjoyed with the astonishing designs showcased in Couture Show.
