PERSONA WITH GRATITUDE & BEAUTIFUL ATTITUDE!

People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is light from within. This is also true in the fashion industry. City First had a conversation with the model, Megha Shyam Soni about her journey.

Describe yourself, and what would you say are some vital skills or characteristics to have to make it in the modelling world?
To introduce myself, my name is Megha Shyam and a very spiritual person and a true believer in Lord Krishna. I believe that he is the Supreme Personality of Godhead. He teaches us how to live in this world with deep knowledge and in harmony with other people and because of him I feel super confident in everything I do. I believe that confidence is the only armour that can shield us from this glamorous world. According to me, a supermodel should have a great personality with gratitude and a beautiful attitude.

What inspired you to find the Supermodel in you. Share some insides of your journey.
For me, Gaurav Gaur and Akanksha Bhalla are my greatest source of inspiration, they both have inspired me a lot just like my family. Gaurav sir groomed me in Rajasthan’s biggest beauty pageant ELITE MISS RAJASTHAN. He is the person who gave me my identity and made me the best version of myself. I belong to a very conservative family, initially, they were against this field but now they feel proud of me and my work.

What was the biggest rookie mistake you made when just starting out?
My mistake was that before meeting Gaurav sir I was like so unconfirmed about myself I didn’t have that much confidence to get any kind of achievements but when I met Gaurav sir he made me sure about my career and that’s why I was got selected for Femina miss India from Rajasthan state level. But unfortunately, I was not enough prepared for that national-level beauty pageant but now I’m preparing a lot for myself to get selected for the national-level pageant.
