Netizens trolled Deepika Padukone for being "INSECURE" of Alia Bhatt as she attends Met Gala 2023

Deepika Padukone has established herself as an extraordinary superstar all over the world, from making her mark as an exceptional actor to starting her own self-care line. When she appeared at the Oscars in 2023 to introduce the song "Naatu Naatu" from SS Rajamouli's highly acclaimed film RRR, she made the country proud. She recently shared a few behind-the-scenes images on her official social media account, which infuriated the online community.

Deepika talked about her surreal experience at the prestigious award event while on Instagram. She can be seen standing backstage, reading from a notebook as she tries to calm her nerves in the collection of images that the actress released. She then walks onto the stage to present the prize.  Well, while fans heaped praises on her beauty and confidence, a section of the internet brutally trolled her for posting the throwback pictures on the day that Alia Bhatt was making her much-awaited MET GALA debut. Many even dubbed her as an ‘insecure person’. One wrote, “This post feels like FOMO as you didn’t make it to MET. Bad timing.” Another wrote, “That dress colour matches ur heart’s colour.” Another one wrote, “posting this before MET GALA such insecure person you are…”  One said, “Really Jealous of Alia? Deepika, you are good but this jealousy is irritating, why didn’t you post since.”

On the work front, Deepika Padukone, who was most recently seen in Shah Rukh Khan's comeback film Pathaan, is now developing the films Fighter (with Hrithik Roshan), Project K (including Prabhas), and The Intern (featuring Amitabh Bachchan).
