KHUDA HAAFIZ 2 REVIEW

After the Splendid Success of Khuda Haafiz the team has brought in Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 - Agnipariksha, Starring Vidyut Jammwal, Shivaleeka Oberoi, Sheeba Chaddha, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Rajesh Tailang, Khuda Haafiz 2 and Directed by Faruk Kabir. Beginning with the storyline as seen in Khuda Haafiz Chapter 1 it’s a story of the life of Nargis ( Shivaleeka ) and Sameer ( Vidyut Jammwal ) where Nargis had been engulfed in a flesh trader pipeline in a fictional middle eastern country, and all the Hardships Sameer Goes through to save his lady love from the unfortunate fright.
The story of Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 - Agnipariksha begins right where it left off in Chapter 1. With both Nargis and Sameer trying to get back to their Normal Life they are back in Lucknow, India. Both of them try to restart their life by moving on but the past keeps haunting Nargis every moment of her life. Everything reminds her of the horrendous sufferings she had to go through to overcome this Sameer gives his best to keep Nargis Happy. To sustain this happiness for Nargis, her beloved husband brings in a bundle of Joy, as they adopt a cute little girl and name her Nanhi.

Tables turn when things start turning Ugly even in India when the little girl vanishes, as does the 15-year-old who is with her. The system and its ugly politics thrive into their already shattered lives. The rest of the film focuses on Jammwal doing what he does best turning into an efficient common man going against all the odds for his family. The raw and real portrayal of emotions by the characters makes you feel sad for the sufferings they go through on-screen. Faruk Kabir’s passion for working on the film is quite visible with every detail of the movie being minutely evaluated and presented on screen. As said, the emotions are so raw at times that they connect one to their real-life struggles. When you see the movie and feel the pain that means the Director has done his job right. He has managed to get the best out of all the characters from the female don played by Sheeba Chadhha to Danish Hussain’s cameo, as a hardcore ‘quaidi’ (prisoner). The vengeance and Agnipariksha that the movie is said to be all about are very well presented on screen by Kabir.

While the screenplay is a bit dis balanced, l the story connects to you sometimes there are times when you would find the story haywire. But Vidyut Jammwal skillfully makes even some of the less imaginative action sequences look better than they have any right to be. Undoubtedly the real Action hero. Along with the skillfully placed action, Khuda Haafiz 2 has many intense moments where Vidyut beautifully expresses mixed expressions of fear, hurt and anger. And it will be safe to say no one could have portrayed the character better than Jammwal.

Shivaleeka has managed to connect to the audience with the portrayal of the pain and agony Nargis goes through as an Actor her Ranger has scored sky high. This is just the beginning for the diva she has a long way to go. The co-actors of the movie have given the pump this movie deserved. The best part of the movie is its rawness. A common man struggle and fights for his family against the corrupt system and against powerful people and at the same time actors have done a brilliant job. Similar to chapter 1 The songs are soothing and the lyrics would connect to your soul. But at the same time, part the movie lacks is the screenplay also at times the movie was dragged a bit and could be easily cut down and made crisp. Concluding, if you have loved south movies like Pushpa, RRR, KGF 2 and others then Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 - Agnipariksha is definitely a mustwatch. First India Rates Khuda Hafiz Chapter 2 - 3.5 stars (An extra half star just for the passion and hard work of the entire cast and crew )
