With designers regaining their mojo, offering new takes on historical symbols, and flipping the fashion show idea on its head, Milan affirmed its notto-be-missed position. The best looks of Milan Fashion Week have echoed the magic of after seasons of flamboyance and statementladen maximalism and have returned fashion to expediency with clothes you can wear. During the fashion week, some extraordinary Indian influencers and designers were part of Milan Fashion Week this year, and making India proud, Lokesh Sharma, an Indian choreographer has entered this league. In one of its kind of fashion moments after a long Indian choreographer-directed show at Milan Fashion Week 2023. He is known for doing international shows such as Arab Fashion Week, Mercedes Benz fashion week Doha and India Fashion Week London to name a few along with many Indian shows and beauty pageants.

When asked about his experience, the talented choreographer mentioned, “The fashion shows and requirements over there are quite different from the Indian ones. The shows are less dramatic and focused more on the product display at hand. The shows are high fashion with a model pool and have different varieties as well.

Directing movement for this kind of international show is huge for me and I am glad I am here! In the process, I also got to learn a lot about how to deal with different people who are coming from different communities and representing different languages, cultures and thoughts. It was indeed one of its kind experience for me and I am certainly looking forward to coming again and Experiencing this again.”

Lokesh’s shows reflect his constant pursuit of magnificence and perfection. The shows he directed were for Francesca Liberatore for the Main Calendar. Along with this he also directed shows for Michael Cinco Dubai and Rocky Star from India, and MM Milano from Milan.
