FRESH COLOUR FOR A FRESH START

From neon green to hot pink, spring 2022 will bring some of the most daring colours yet. Mood-lifting colours were so prevalent on the runways from New York to Paris that it felt like an invitation to incorporate Spring colour trends into our wardrobe, whether it was with a flash of pink in accessories or headto-toe brights in a monochromatic blue suit.

HOT PINK This vivid shade of pink, which some may refer to as rhodamine red, lies somewhere between fuchsia and magenta. It's a little darker than Barbie, but it's still a lot of fun and it holds a lot of power. That's why it's been seen on statement pieces like jumpsuits, co-ord sets, and dresses.

NEON GREEN Neon green, which is similar to Kelly green, begs to be seen. The lime green shade is a runway staple, and it’s ideal for all of your spring social engagements. Keep the accessories simple to suit the bold colour.

ILLUMINATING YELLOW Illuminating Yellow, a mix of neon green and bright yellow, has brightened several catwalks this season. Its eyecatching colour and mood-boosting effect will quickly become a favourite for the boldest among us.

KELLY GREEN Green has such a lush feel to it that it's no surprise that designers are using it in several ways. Kelly green is having a moment in the sun this spring, from Dior's belted little dress to Sergio Hudson's power suit to Bottega Veneta's ubiquitous accessories.

CANARY YELLOW Even when the yellow of the season leans more toward lemon, it still has that lovely chalky quality that elevates it above gold or highlighter colours. Canary Yellow will undoubtedly appear on some of our most important wardrobe staples.

SKY BLUE The new blue for 2022 can be interpreted in a variety of ways. The colour trend, whether you prefer cornflower or cyan, is still reminiscent of a clear, cloudless sky. White piping or accessories can help to balance it out or opt for a monotone style with matching shoes, jacket, or bag.

SCARLET This season the scarlet's game is so strong that it can stand alone. Colour block with softer tones like lavender for an eye-catching combination or pair it with neutral accessories to make the colour pop.

SOFT LILAC If there was ever a moment to pick a new favourite hue, it's now, thanks to the runway's soft lilac trend. This colour, with its grey undertone and pastel-like finish, will convert anyone who says they don't like purple. In power-suit form, it still attracts attention despite being easy on the eyes. Don't underestimate the individual who is wearing it.

SALTED CARAMEL 2022 neutral is a lot more cheerful than khaki or tan. It looks very good when paired with bright colours like purple or pastels like peach. Layer it with numerous shades of brown or add a pop of colour with one of the aforementioned brights.
