DUBAI: The First India Fashion Connect Season 11 held at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel on March 12, Saturday was an unprecedented success with the best of fashion, culture and heritage celebrated on the First India Ramp.

The show began with Jagdeesh Chandra welcoming the VIP guests who had come to watch the amazing show and be a part of the First India initiative.

Jagdeesh Chandra welcomed the audience and said that fashion and glamour provide a glimpse into the age-old culture and heritage of a nation and at the same time give employment to a huge number of people. It is a major industry today in every country.

He also appreciated the efforts of brand ambassador Rishee Miglani, show director Lokesh Sharma and the First India team. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Makioum Al Maktoum of the royal family of Dubai graced the occasion as the chief guest.

He was accompanied by Yaqoob Al Ali, executive director and private advisor in his Highness office Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum.

It was a matter of privilege that the renowned cricketer and former captain of the Indian cricket team Mohammad Azharuddin was also one of the esteemed guests for the evening as was Ashley Rebello, Costume designer, who dresses none other than the superstar Salman Khan.

The Sheikh appreciated the efforts of Jagdeesh Chandra and First India in bringing such amazing events to Dubai. The master of ceremonies Rupa Khurana welcomed all the guests and dignitaries to the amazing season 11 of one of India’s best single-day fashion shows, the First India Fashion Connect.

The first designers to showcase the event was Mohit Falod. Followed by an amazing collection of Wrickie Angrish as the models walked in the creations of Jaipur Dori next, it drew appreciation from the audience.

The next designer to showcase amazing design on the ramp was Shivayu and Karigiri Studio. And the grand finale by Suneet Varma was surreal and breathtaking.

Entire collections showcased in the Fashion Connect were complete with bridal wear, holiday mood, semiformal, formal and each aspect of fashion covered during the one and half hour glitzy show on the ramp.
