SHREE SANKATMOCHAN HANUMAN KI JAI!

Beawar: The annual Shree Cement Sankatmochan Hanuman religious festival, which was celebrated with devoted fervour and belief from February 2 to 5, in Beawar came to a close with a splendid cultural evening of music by renowned singer and musician Pritam Chakravorty. This year was the 23rd anniversary of the festival which is the sparkling highlight of the year not just for the Shree Cement company, employees and their families but also for the entire populace of Beawar and Hanuman bhakts from all over Rajasthan.

During the cultural evening on Sunday, at the Shree Rangmanch, Chairman Emeritus BG Bangur thanked everyone and said we have been blessed by Sankatmochan Hanuman and have reached unprecedented heights since the year 2000. Chairman HM Bangur in his address said that Shree Cement’s aim is not be No.1 in the nation but the entire world and with the blessings of Sankatmochan we will reach this goal. Vice Chairman Prashant Bangur also conveyed his gratitude to Sankatmochan Hanuman and said that Shree Cement owes its national and international success to his blessings. Managing Director Neeraj Akhoury welcomed all the guests and said that each one of them is part of the Shree Cement family and together they have to take the company ahead and forward. The entire Bangur family including Pooja, the daughter of HM Bangur and her husband Gaurav Jain, Viraj Bangur and Vidush Bangur, Whole Time Director PN Chhangani, President Commercial Sanjay Mehta, Jt President Commercial Arvind Khincha, Trustee, Education for all Trust Sundeep Bhutoria and other eminent guests were also present during the cultural evening and the two-day festive celebrations.

On Sunday, a Prabhat Pheri was taken out at 6:00 am in which close to 300 employees and their families also participated enthusiastically. A friendly match of volleyball was also held between the management and the employees which is a long-standing tradition of togetherness and sportsman spirit. HM Bangur led the ‘Bengal Roar’ team and defeated Neeraj Akhoury’s ‘Desert storm’ team while Viraj Bangur won the award for the best player.

As part of the festivities, Mangla and Shringar aarti was held in the wee hours of Saturday morning, the ceremonial, ritualistic consecration, abhishek and grand aarti were completed by Acharya Lakshminarayan and other learned pandits. The Bangur family performed ‘abhishek’ of Shri Sankatmochan Hanumanji and participated devotedly in the puja, javan and purnaaahuti. All the senior management members were part of the puja and sought blessings.

In the afternoon on the same day, a massive and resplendent ‘Shobha Yatra’ was taken out from Shree Sankatmochan Hanuman Temple premises, during the Yatra the Bangur family seated the Deity form of the Lord ceremoniously in the divine chariot from their own temple.

The cultural evening was a perfect culmination of the four days festival and was enjoyed and appreciated by one and all.
