‘Yatra’ aims to take benefits of govt schemes till last mile: CM

Jaipur: Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma said on Monday that the objective of the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra, started under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is to give full benefits of the government schemes to the last mile.

He said that every decision of government is being taken keeping the public welfare and progress of the state. With a resolve to provide basic health services to every person, he said that under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, every eligible citizen of the state will be given health insurance of up to Rs 25 lakh. Besides, the number of free tests and medicines will be increased and other schemes will be reviewed and strengthened. Sharma was addressing the inauguration of Good Governance Day and Cleanliness Week and the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra program at Ajayrajpura in Bagru.
