Workaholic Chief Secretary Pant conducts surprise check on his b’day

Jaipur: A workaholic by nature, CS Sudhansh Pant, who was working on his birthday on Wednesday, conducted a surprise inspection of Transport Dept and his action exposed poor working of officials, who were found missing. CS went to the office of Transport Commissioner Manisha Arora, who wasn’t present there. As soon as the news of the surprise check reached her, she reached the office within 15 minutes and excused herself saying that she had been to the venue of the Road Safety programme. However, CS wasn’t convinced with her reply. “I never disclose to anyone about my plans. How do people get to know about my visit? Staff who had their duties in the field are also present in the office. How media gets to know about my visit, is surprising,” Pant said.
