Women20 Int’l Meet in Jaipur from today

Jaipur: The two-day 2nd Women 20 (W20) International Meeting will be held in Jaipur from Thursday. A delegation of 120 women from 18 countries will participate in the G20 summit and discuss issues on promoting gender equality and economic empowerment of women globally. The summit will be held in Hotel Lalit.

Union Minister of State for Culture Arjun Ram Meghwal will be the chief guest at the programme.
The inaugural session will be addressed by Member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister Dr Shamika Ravi, Secretary of Ministry of Women and Child Development Indeevar Pandey, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, and G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant.

The first day will also see the launch of Women 20 Innovation, Mission Digital Women, financial and digital literacy and skilling programmes.
