Woman looted on pretext of donation

Jaipur: Two unidentified miscreants looted a woman on the pretext of seeking donations for a temple in Kardhani area on Friday. Police informed the accused made the victim unconscious after making her smell some sedating substance and fled away with gold jewellery.

“The incident occurred in Jamuna Nagar Colony in Kardhani area on Friday. The victim, Mamta (28), was alone at her home when miscreants came and rang the doorbell. As soon as she opened the door, the two men requested donations for the temple. They demanded Rs. 1100 and oil in donations,” police said. “When the victim refused to give money, the miscreants made her unconscious by smelling her some sedating substance. They later looted her with gold earrings and fled.
