Woman dies after pressure cooker explodes in Jaipur

Jaipur: A woman died after a pressure cooker exploded in her kitchen in Jaipur on Monday. The case is of Jhotwara police station area. Police are investigating the matter. When the incident happened, the son had gone to the market and husband was preparing to leave for work.

Jhotwara police said that the deceased has been identified as Kiran Kanwar, a resident of Bhaumiya Nagar. She was cooking pulses in pressure cooker when it exploded.

The forensic team was called. The body has been kept in the mortuary of the government hospital. The police are trying to find out the company that manufactured the cooker.
