Withdraw cases lodged during Bharat Bandh: SC-ST leaders

Jaipur: A controversy broke out in the SC-ST Mahapanchayat on Sunday when the organisers interrupted the disaster management and relief minister Govind Ram Meghwal during his speech and asked him to sum up in two minutes. He got angry over this and left the programme abruptly.

When Meghwal was addressing from the stage, he was asked to complete the address in two minutes. Irked over this, the minister told the audience from the stage that he had been asked to complete the address in two minutes, so he was stopping.

Ministers Mamta Bhupesh, Bhajan Lal Jatav and Tikaram Jully also left the programme.
The programme was organised at Mansarover ground here by the Ambedkar Memorial Welfare Society in which various pending issues pertaining to reservation, police cases were raised.

They said that the government had promised to withdraw cases registered after Bharat bandh on April 2, 2018 but the cases have not been withdrawn so far.
