With juniors as Collectors, IAS Vishram & Harji Atal confused on their ‘future’!
Jaipur: IAS Vishram Meena (2009 batch) and Harji Lal Atal (2012 batch) are a puzzled lot as to why didn’t the DoP do justice with them? When OSDs in 28 districts have been appointed as Collectors, then why have they been left out?
Vishram Meena has been kept OSD of newly formed Jaipur Rural district and Harji lal Atal has been kept OSD of Jodhpur Rural district. Vishram Meena is extra perplexed since he has served as Barmer Collector in 2020, although this is also an interesting aspect that in current govt he has been transferred eleven times.
Atal’s story is even more interesting. He was first appointed as OSD Sanchore, thereafter, he was appointed as OSD Neem Ka Thana and then through the August 7 transfer list, he was appointed as OSD of Jodhpur Rural district.
The duo are confused that when their peers and even their juniors have been appointed as Collectors, then why have they been kept on hold? As of now, it can not be said how many days they will have to wait for it.
Meanwhile, an interesting coincidence has been observed, regarding transfer and posting, in the Energy Department as well. Over the past 10 months, DoP has changed three Joint Secretaries in the department, but what is more interesting is the fact that all 3 are female IAS who are MBBS doctors! At first Artika Shukla was posted as JS, followed by Somya Jha and now Dr Manju. All three IAS are of 2016 & 2017 batches.
