WITH COVID RAISING HEAD AGAIN, CM GEHLOT ADVOCATES WEARING MASK

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot on Monday said that the general public should use masks in public places while being careful regarding Covid. “Apart from Covid, the mask is also beneficial in other diseases. By wearing a mask, a decline has been registered in the number of patients of many serious diseases including TB,” Gehlot said while addressing the Covid review meeting at CMR on Monday. He said that the immunity and vaccination status is very good in the state and there is no need for the common people to panic. RUHS Vice Chancellor Dr Sudhir Bhandari said that 96.4 percent people in the state have got the first dose of Covid vaccine and 90 percent people have got the 2nd. “So far, more than 11.53 crore vaccines have been given in Rajasthan,” Gehlot said.
