Jaipur: Spate of suicides by students undergoing coaching in Kota, and now in Sikar also, has led to a big question as to what kind of studies are going on in the Allen Coaching Institute.

“Why are mostly Allen’s students taking drastic steps like suicide?,” this question has cropped up after more than 25 suicides, mostly of Allen students, this year so far. Suicide by 16-year-old Kaushal Kumar, a student of Allen in Sikar, on Monday has further raised serious concerns.

Nine days ago on August 27, a student of Allen, Avishkar had jumped from the sixth floor of Allen Coaching Institute in Kota. Another Allen student Adarsh had also ended his life same day.

In such a situation, the demand for closure of such greedy coaching institutes started rising. CM Ashok Gehlot himself has also expressed concern over increasing suicide cases.
