What does the ‘final’ RAS transfer list of current dispensation say?

Jaipur: Out of the cadre list of 900 RAS officers, the State government, over the past fortnight, has transferred 527 officials. This is the biggest shuffle of RAS in the current government and interesting facts galore regarding these transfers.

1998 batch officer Mahaveer Kharadi is a native of Banswara and his first posting was in 1999 in Udaipur, Thereafter, in the past 23 years, he has left the Udaipur division for only five years. He was transferred to Bikaner in January 2023, but through the August 16 transfer list, he was shifted back to Udaipur as Additional Divisional Commissioner.

Similarly, 2011 batch RAS Sudhanshu Singh is active in Udaipur division since August 2011. He was Registrar in Udaipur Agriculture University and in the new transfer list, he has been posted as Deputy Commissioner in Udaipur Municipal Corporation.

RAS Keshav Kumar Meena of 2017 batch have been suspended for four months. He is a native of Karauli and in the new list, he has been appointed as SDO Gangapur city which lies in his home district. Rakesh Kumar Gupta was appointed as ADM Beawar on August 10, but after eight days, he has been transferred to the post of ADM Nagaur.

Senior RAS of 1999 batch, Sunil Bhati was posted on the important post of ED, RSBCL but within ten months, he has been posted on a lack lustre position of Commissioner, Printing and Stationery. Officials are trying to find the reason behind it, although the position on he was serving prior to transfer, has been left vacant. Now, according to the orders of Election Commissioner, from August 21, a complete ban has come into effect on transfer of field officials.
