With an aim to formally blow the electoral bugle and to reinvigorate the party cadre to brace for the ‘battle 2023’, Bhartiya Janta Party’s National President JP Nadda is reaching Jaipur today. With a little over a year left for the assembly elections in Rajasthan, Nadda has a lot on his hands to handle; from ‘quelling’ the internal tussle for ‘premiership’ of the state, to end factionalism and breathe in new ‘josh’ in the workers, to strategising for the elections; all the tasks seem to be falling in Nadda’s lap, perhaps only because here is a leader capable of ‘fighting the bigger battles’ yet staying grounded and low profile. The ‘General’ of ‘BJP Army’ Nadda will not only address a meeting of party office bearers in the evening on May 19, but on May 20 and May 21 will continue his role, as the BJP’s national office bearers mull amongst themselves on various political equations across nation and strategies going ahead for various assembly elections. Interestingly, since it will be a grand ocassion for the BJP, the party has even managed to extend a grander welcome to Nadda as pachyderms have been roped in to offer garlands to the national president at BJP state chief Satish Poonia’s constituency - Amer - on his way to Leela Palace hotel where the entire three day programme is being held! Now, all eyes are glued on BJP’s programme and Nadda’s arrival from the heart of national politics - New Delhi, to the heart of Raj’s politics - Jaipur!
