We need to make a collective effort to conserve water:Dr Kalla

Jaipur: First India organised the Jal Shakti Abhiyan Programme on Thursday at Hotel Marriott to create awareness and hold dialogue on the importance of saving water. Education Minister Dr BD Kalla while addressing the gathering said that First India always keeps innovating. Referring to an anecdote from the Assembly, BD Kalla said, “On a question, I said that water is a significant gem, which needs to be conserved. There can be a world war without water. Every drop has to be saved. Every house should take measures to conserve water.” He further said, “We have to understand the importance of water. We have to conserve water for the coming generations. I have talked about water conservation for Shekhawati region and spoke to Union Minister for Jal Shakti GS Shekhawat.” Meanwhile, First India’s Editor-in-Chief Dr Jagdeesh Chandra also addressed the event and said that First India has always been playing such social concerns. “Gehlot government has always been sensitive. We are doing the work of taking the issues of the government to the public. First India raises sensitive issues in Rajasthan. We are doing the work of taking the government to the public,” he said.
