Water level at Bisalpur Dam rises after heavy rains; nears 313.56 M
Jaipur: Thanks to a favorable monsoon, the water level at Bisalpur Dam, crucial for Jaipur and Ajmer, has risen to 313.56 RL meters.The current water level of the dam has reached 313.56 RL meters. Due to good rains in Bhilwara, Chittorgarh and Rajsamand, the height of Triveni in the dam’s flow area has reached 4.35 meters.
This monsoon has already delivered nine months’ worth of water in Bisalpur dam, with expectations for further increases due to upcoming rains. Since inflow began on August 6, the water level has been steadily rising.
After good rainfall in Chittorgarh and Bhilwara, Bedach, Menali and Banas are flowing together. The water level of Triveni is running at a height of 4.35 meters. The water level of the dam is expected to reach 313.90 RL meters by Monday morning.
