Voting may have increased but it remained less on 82 seats
Jaipur: Compared to the last Assembly elections in the State, voting was recorded to have increased by 0.73 percent. But the credit for increasing this voting goes to 117 seats of the State. The increased voting on these seats increased the total figure to 75.45%. This is the highest figure of EVM voting till date.
On the other hand, there were 82 seats where voting was less as compared to the previous elections. The seats with low turnout did not appear to be in any one particular area. There were such seats in every district in the state in which the percentage of voting was less as compared to the previous elections.
