Vande Bharat to flag off from Jaipur today

Jaipur: The Vande Bharat train will be inaugurated today at 11 am from Jaipur Junction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will virtually show the green flag from New Delhi. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, GM Vijay Sharma of NorthWest Railway, and other public representatives will travel in the train. Common people will be able to travel by train from April 13. This train from Ajmer to Delhi Cantt via Jaipur will run six days a week. Captain Shashi Kiran, Chief Public Relations Officer of North Western Railway said, “From April 13, train 20977 Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat Superfast Express will leave Ajmer at 6:20 am and reach Delhi Cantt at 11:35 am. It will stop at Jaipur, Alwar and Gurugram. The train will stop for five minutes in Jaipur and two minutes each in Ajmer and Gurgaon. The train will start from Ajmer and reach Jaipur at 7.50 am and reach Alwar at 9.35. It will reach Gurgaon (Gurugram) at 11.15 and Delhi Cantt at 11.35.”
