Usha Sharma may be made Chairman, RERA

Jaipur: A discussion is going on regarding new appointment of CS Usha Sharma. Word is that, she could be appointed to the post of RERA Chairman after retirement. Notably, former CS NC Goyal was appointed as RERA Chairman and his tenure ended on April 19. After this, UDH did not immediately start the process to appoint a new Chairman. However after a month long wait, a release has been issued by UDH for applications for the post of RERA Chairman. The last date for application is July 5 and Chief Secretary Usha Sharma is retiring on June 30. In such a situation, there is speculation that the recruitment process started late, so that application can be given on behalf of Usha Sharma for the post of RERA Chairman. However, how significant these speculations and discussions are, only time will tell.
