Uproar over Jodhpur gangrape, law & order
Jaipur: There was heated debate in the House between MLA Sanyam Lodha and Leader of Opposition Rajendra Rathore over the Jodhpur gangrape case. “This is a party of rapists. BJP did not speak in this matter in the House because the accused are from their organization,” said Lodha. Rajendra Rathore strongly objected to Lodha’s allegations. On this, Chairman Chairman JP Chandelia removed the allegations from the proceedings. After this, the BJP MLAs created a ruckus by coming to the Well. MLA Vasudev Devnani ran towards Sanyam Lodha and Madan Dilawar also reached towards Lodha. The Speaker adjourned the House for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, BJP and RLP walked out of the House on Monday raising the issue of law and order through an adjournment motion. Speaking on the adjournment motion, Rajendra Rathore said that Gehlot Penal Code is applicable in state instead of Indian Penal Code.
