Uproar over GST, inflation; Cong, traders protest in Raj

Jaipur: The Congress on Saturday protested against inflation and inclusion of food items under GST. Food & Civil Supplies Minister Pratap Singh Khachariyawas protested against imposition of 5% GST on food items like Atta, Dal, Rice, Jaggery, Makhana, Maida etc. 

Hundreds of Cong workers demonstrated at Collectorate Circle. Khachariyawas said that the Modi govt at the Centre is now going to snatch the bread of the poor by imposing 5% GST on food items. 

It is the responsibility of every person to oppose the Modi govt against the imposition of tax on flour and pulses. In this country, 50 cr people feed their stomachs by buying open flour every day, Min Khachariyawas added.
