Upen-led delegation meets Gehlot, calls meet positive

Jaipur: A seven-member delegation led by Upen Yadav, who is fighting for various demands in Rajasthan, met Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday. Gehlot has given positive assurance on the demands.

Submitting a memorandum of 17-point demands, Yadav, Chief of Rajasthan Unemployed Integrated Federation, said that there have been positive signs in the meeting held on the initiative of RTDC chief Dharmendra Rathore.

“The CM assured to get the recruitment processes done at a fast pace. He also promised to give priority to complete the under-process recruitment as soon as possible and the calendar of 1 lakh recruitment examinations announced in the budget to be issued department-wise as soon as possible,” Yadav said.

The delegation will soon hold talks with the CMO regarding various other demands. Upen is also demanding the suspension of the SHO who lathi-charged the unemployed youth.
