Unani medical facility at 100 hosps; 200 new posts

Jaipur: CM Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to provide Unani medicine facility in 100 Ayush hospitals and dispensaries. Along with this, the proposal to create a total of 200 posts has also been approved for the operation of these facilities.

One post each of Unani Medical Officer and Unani Junior Nurse and Compounder will be created. Necessary furniture and equipment will also be purchased for them at a cost of Rs 20 lakh.

Unani medical facilities will be developed, with18 in Jaipur, 16 in Jodhpur, 8 in Bharatpur, 6 in Sikar, 5 each in Ajmer and Sawai Madhopur, 4 each in Udaipur, Dausa and Jhunjhunu, 3 each in Nagaur, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara and Churu, Kota, Jalore, 2 each in Jaisalmer and Rajsamand, 1 each in Alwar, Bikaner, Bundi, Dholpur, Hanumangarh, Karauli, Pali, Pratapgarh, Sri Ganganagar and Tonk.
