UDH relaxes land acquisition norms in four cities

Jaipur: In a relaxation of norms in four cities, Pushkar, Mount Abu, Jaisalmer & Nathdwara, the land outside municipal areas in these cities can be acquired under 90A. The land of master plan area can be acquired under 90A. Only concerned bodies will be able to take action under 90A at local level. For this, there will be no need to send file to state govt. But approval will have to be taken for land situated in municipality area.

UDH Dept issued orders in this regard on Wednesday for decentralization of powers. The matters which will be outside the jurisdiction of bodies, files of such large sized land will only be sent to govt’s nod. These 4 cities are crucial from heritage & geographical point of view. So, restrictions were put on land conversion proceedings.
