UDH minister expresses concern over vacant posts

Jaipur: Following Urban Development and Housing (UDH) minister Jhabar Singh Kharra during the Nari Shakti Bandhan Samman ceremony in Mansarovar, Jaipur on Friday said that the vacant posts in the municipal bodies have become a problem, which needed to be addressed. He also expressed displeasure over the tardy pace of projects going on in the state. He said, “Action will be taken against officers who have caused trouble to the general public by giving a wrong notice.”

Jhabar Singh Kharra said that many complaints have been received regarding infrastructure projects in various cities of the state. “Information is being taken in this regard from all departments. Officials have also started monitoring and the results will be seen. Cleaning work in Dravyavati river has begun,” he said, adding that the concept of IT city will be realized in Jaipur and employment opportunities will increase.
