Troubles for PHED engineer RK Meena

Jaipur: RK Meena, Chief Engineer of the Public Health Engineering Department who was arrested while taking a bribe of ten lakh rupees, is once again seems to be in trouble. Meena currently has important responsibility of Jal Jeevan Mission, but due to gross negligence in work, a total of 4 notices have been served to him on direction of ACS PHED Subodh Agarwal.

Along with him, two show cause notices have been given to additional chief engineer Arun Srivastava. The allegation against Meena is that he presented matters of price bid in the meeting of the finance committee on March 8 even after due date was over. Meena put several agendas in the meeting but in reality the validity date was already over. He presented most of the cases after the deadline was over. It is written in the notice served to Meena that such act reflects his incapabilities as the chief engineer of Jal Jeevan Mission.

After the notices were served, questions are being raised as to why Meena was given this responsibility.
