Transport officer, guards held with Rs 1.43 L, ACB registers case

Jaipur: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has filed a case against Mahesh Kumar Pareek, a transport inspector in Bhilwara, along with four security guards identified as Harisingh, Tej Singh, Lakshman Gurjar, and Mittu Khan. The action follows a surprise inspection conducted by the ACB in Bhilwara, where the accused were found in possession of a suspicious amount of Rs 1,43,540. The accused could not provide satisfactory explanations for this amount, prompting the ACB to register charges related to corruption. Further investigations are expected as the case unfolds.
