Transport dept officials detained for illegal collections at NH 21 by ACB

Bharatpur/Jaipur: In a major action against corruption, ACB detained the guards along with an inspector of the Transport Department near Ludhabai Toll Plaza located on Bharatpur - Bikaner NH 21 on suspicion of illegal collections from vehicles passing through the toll plaza.

A sum of Rs. 75,000 was recovered following interrogations at the Bharatpur ACB office, all individuals were later released and in the coming days a case will be filed against them.

Under the leadership of Additional SP Amit Singh, ACB detained a transportation department inspector and five guards, along with a private individual, on allegations of illegal collections. Amit Singh, Additional SP, stated that complaints of illegal collections from drivers were being received.
