Transport dept appoints OSDs in 15 dists

Jaipur: The state govt has expedited the process of formation of new districts in Rajasthan. Following the directions of CS Usha Sharma, the transport dept on Thursday appointed 15 OSDs in newly-proposed districts. Officials informed that the transport dept has also appointed a State Level Nodal Officer for effective monitoring.

“State Level Nodal Officers will be in touch with all OSD and will report to the Transport Commissioner. The work of the OSDs will mainly be to select the place for the new office, create posts & determine area of the district,” said an official.
