Jaipur: Transport Commissioner Manisha Arora chaired a meeting via VC to review all RTOs. She expressed dissatisfaction over pending installations of High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) & directed for their swift completion.

It’s noteworthy that in Rajasthan, it has become mandatory to install HSRP on vehicles purchased before April 1, 2019. Prior to April 2019, tampering with the number plates was relatively easy. However, after the installation of High Security Number Plates, such tampering would become nearly impossible.

Feedback was also sought regarding the implementation of the E-DL (Electronic Driving License) and E-RC (Electronic Registration Certificate) schemes.
