Traffic cops to get computerised duties

Jaipur: The exercise of bringing transparency in the duty of traffic policemen and fixing the deteriorating traffic system in Jaipur has intensified. The duty of traffic cops will now be assigned not by the duty officer but by a computer.

For this, Police Commissioner Anand Srivastava launched the Traffic Police Duty Management System at the Yadgaar building, where the City traffic headquarters is located.

The duties of traffic cops at 391 traffic points will be done through computer software.
For this, Jaipur City has been divided into three parts. This will follow the present rotation system and duty will be changed on the first day of every month. Moreover, 70 police stations across the city have also been directed to cooperate.
