Tourism boom in Rajasthan with 394% rise in domestic tourists

Jaipur: The number of domestic tourists in Rajasthan has increased by 394% as compared to the previous years. The concept of tourist season is almost over in the state. The presence of tourists here throughout the year has kept Rajasthan tourism buzzing.

A long weekend from this week till 15 August has proved to be helpful in increasing the excitement of the tourists. The situation is such that at tourist places including Jaipur, Udaipur and Mount Abu, only those who have made advance booking will be able to get a place. There are neither vehicles nor stay places available at these tourist places.

“Tourists should make it their habit that whenever they ensure their tourist trip to any place, they should plan their trip before that because without planning you will not enjoy the journey,” said Dalip S Rathore, Deputy Director of Tourism Dept. These days the Rajasthan Tourism department is making new circuits keeping the tourists in mind. The religious tourism has also increased a lot in the state because the Sarvadharma Sambhav pilgrimage circuit has been made to promote religious tourism in the state.

According to RATO President MS Rathore, a large number of domestic tourists are coming to Rajasthan these days. These days a large number of domestic tourists are present in Ranakpur, Sariska, Ranthambore, Udaipur, and Mount Abu, he said.

The condition of Udaipur is that advance bookings have been made not only for this long weekend but also till Dec.
