Top leaders in huddle to discuss crucial issues in Delhi today
New Delhi/Jaipur: All eyes are on the crucial meeting of the Rajasthan Congress leaders with the senior leaders in New Delhi today. According to the informed sources, AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge has called CM Ashok Gehlot and his former deputy Sachin Pilot to discuss the issues emerging in the Rajasthan Congress.
The meeting is scheduled to be at Kharge’s residence. Rahul Gandhi, State in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, PCC chief Govind Singh Dotasra, and 3 co-incharges of Rajasthan are expected to be present in the meeting. Former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot is also expected to attend the meeting. The meeting was earlier scheduled on May 26 but was postponed due to Rahul’s busy schedule.
It is believed that after this meeting, the matter may be posed before Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi with some resolution and outline to face the upcoming Assembly elections.
Encouraged by victory in Karnataka Assembly polls, focus of Congress has shifted to Rajasthan and the meeting is a step in that direction. Assembly elections in Rajasthan are likely to be held in November and therefore, the Congress high command has already started preparations so that the party can repeat the government.
Along with this, the survey conducted by the AICC in Rajasthan, feedback will also be discussed so that the decisions to be taken from now on can be outlined.
