To promote tourism, land on lease to be given under ERCP

Jaipur: The Tourism projects in the state will be promoted under East Rajasthan Canal Project Corporation (ERCP) by giving 48.227 hectares of land on lease. A total of 28.42% land in Bichpal (Bikaner), Billia Khurd (Bhilwara), Gujnol (Rajsamand), Sardar city (Churu), Umeran (Alwar) will be given on lease.

Island and dam bank land (10.854 hectares) in Bisalpur Dam are also on lease. The Island land (8.953 hectares) located in Mahi Bajaj Sagar Dam is also on lease.

Soon, e-auction will be done to lease land at all locations. Online bidding will be done under ERCP on September 29. After the lease, the land user will be able to build parks, resorts, hotels, etc. on their respective land.
