‘Tireless’ Raj CM Ashok Gehlot back to his ‘old demeanour’

Jodhpur: Days after visiting Jodhpur and taking stock of the city and its dwellers, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot once reached the Blue City and like always, he appeared in his now established ‘old demeanour’.

After reaching Jodhpur, he took stock of the various development works going on in the city. He took feedback from the officials regarding the progress of works and budget announcements.

Along with this, the officers were asked to complete all the work on time. Within a week, for the second time, taking a three-hour long drive, he toured the city with public representatives and observed the development work.

After reaching Jodhpur on Friday afternoon from Jaipur, the CM went directly to inspect the ongoing development works in the city. During the visit, Gehlot first reached Mathuradas Mathur Hospital to give concrete shape to his plans to strengthen the infrastructure of the medical system.

He oversaw the phased construction work of the multi-storey ICU ward to be built from the CM’s budget announcement of 2019-20 there.

Principal of Medical College SS Rathore and Collector Himanshu Gupta informed the Chief Minister about the project, highlighting that till now the structure work has been completed while the work of furnishing on the third floor is in progress which is likely to be completed by April 30 and will provide better modern medical facilities to the common man.

CM Gehlot also observed the construction work of remaining floors in OPD block of Mathuradas Mathur Hospital.
