Timely disposal of cases, traffic mgmt among priorities for ’23: DGP

Jaipur: Following DGP Umesh Mishra’s initiatives, the Rajasthan police set priorities for 2023. Apart from the traditional priorities, this time the police have set some new targets. By strengthening criminal information, action against historysheeter hardcore habitual criminals is the first priority. Strict preventive and punitive action against drug and illegal arms trafficking, timely disposal of crimes against women, children and weaker sections, planned efforts to trace missing children, effective control and legal action against land mafia and criminals who commit economic crimes are included.
