Tigress ST-3 dies of old age at Sariska; now ST-2 being monitored

Jaipur: A tigress died on Monday in the Sariska Tiger Reserve due to prolonged illness and old age. Officials informed ST-3, aged around 16, was one of the oldest tigers in Sariska Tiger Reserve. ST-3 was relocated from Ranthambore to Sariska in 2009. She was then given a new number as ST-3. Officials informed that the tigress was not feeling well for the last seven to eight days.

Now, the oldest tigress in Sariska Reserve is ST-2, aged around 18 years and is being monitored.
