Tigress Machhali remembered on her death anniversary

Jaipur: The 7th death anniversary of world famous Ranthambore tigress Machhali was observed on Friday. Machhali was the oldest tigress in the world and she gave birth to the maximum number of 11 cubs, seven females and four males, and was the most photographed in the world. She received the Life Time Achievement Award and a film on her got the National Award. She also hunted a 10 feet long crocodile.

Machhali left this world 7 years ago. Not only this, the government has also issued a postage stamp on this tigress. Machhali was born in 1997. She got Machhali name because her mother had a fish like mark on her face. Due to her calm nature and special attachment to the camera, Machhali has been a major attraction of Ranthambore National Park over the years. She even has a Facebook page named after him.
