Tigress couldn’t be tranquilised in RTR for shifting

Jaipur: A tigress was planned to be tranquilised in Ranthambore national park for shifting to Ramgrh Vishdhari park, but it could not be done.The team of the forest department was unable to tranquilize the tigress. DCF Mohit Gupta, DCF of Ramgarh Vishdhari Sanjeev Sharma were also present during the procedure. Earlier, T-119 was identified but she could not be tranquilized therefore it was decided to tranquilize T-133.

DFO Sanjeev Sharma said, “Tranquilizing could not be done today, don’t pay attention to rumours, there is nothing to hide from the public. There is an atmosphere of happiness for all. When we get success in shifting, we will inform everyone officially.”
