Tiger ST-29 popular as ‘Tilak’ released in Sariska

Jaipur: Ahead of Diwali, Tiger ST-29 also called Tilak, was released in Sariska on Thursday. Earlier, marked as T113, Tilak was shifted from Ranthambore to Sariska on October 16. After keeping it in the enclosure for three days, the tiger was released. This tiger has been named ST-29 but wildlife lovers have named it Tilak. Sariska field director Roop Narayan Meena and other officials were present during the release of the tiger. Due to the efforts of Roop Narayan Meena, Panidhal has been developed as a dense forest area. Meena and his team have played a significant role in relocating Panidhal villagers. PS of Forest Dept Shikhar Agrawal said that Tiger ST-29 has been released in the densest forest area of Sariska, Panidhal.
