Tender floated by VC Amarika under scanner

Jaipur: After Higher Edu Dept of state govt lodged FIR against Prof. Amarika Singh. Now irregularities related to a tender floated for exam related works surfaced. Questions are also being raised about letter of Raj Bhavan on basis of tender. Tender relates to State University Management System. Work was allotted to Mini Ratna Company Basil under Central Govt for exam and other works in University.

Tender is for Rs 25 cr but Mohanlal Sukhadia University mentioned getting work done in 10 universities, so company would get work of atleast Rs 250 cr. On March 10, VC wrote a letter to PS to Governor, University gave tender on basis of decision taken in meeting at Raj Bhavan. On basis of this tender of Sukhadia University, Raj Bhavan has written letter to other universities too, leding to dispute. According to Raj Transparency in Public Procurement Act, one procurement agency cannot enter into a rate contract for another.
